Problem Note 69087: Registering a table to the metadata might fail with the message, "ERROR: JDBC driver 'driver-name' returns NULL for Connection#getSchema()..."

Registering a table to the metadata or updating existing table metadata might fail, returning an error similar to the following:
ERROR: JDBC driver '<jdbc-driver-for-your-database>' returns NULL for Connection#getSchema(). Use LIBNAME option SCHEMA= to specify the default schema.
The problem occurs when the following are true:
- The SAS® library uses the SAS/ACCESS® Interface to JDBC (SASIOJDB) LIBNAME engine.
- You register or update a table from a SCHEMA that is not the default schema for your database.
- The database does not have a default schema.
The issue affects only the METALIB procedure. A LIBNAME statement that contains the schema name connects successfully to the database.
